Teen Credit

Ages 13-19

According to a 2016 study by Sallie Mae, only 63 percent of college students pay their credit card bill in full each month. And, the American Bankruptcy Institute says that 19 percent of college students last year declared bankruptcy due to credit card debt.

One of the greatest challenges we face nationally as well as globally, is a lack of financial literacy, generation after generation. It affects us personally, it affects our communities and it affects our economy. Since 2019, TEA Foundation has provided FREE financial literacy workshops across the globe, providing solutions which help the rising generation better understand money and how to use it to succeed in life rather than be a slave to it.

As a result of attending a workshop; teens are taught financial skills such as budgeting, debt management, investing, credit education and much more. The academy offers this class in high schools, private sessions, as well as virtually.
